Poll: To plan or not to plan

I’m following a training plan, properly for the first time in ever.  I’ve always read through plans, and roughly seen how much mileage and the type of sessions I should do and then I go my own way.  It works as it is super flexible, but maybe those experts know something I don’t.  So, as I train for a 10K at the end of May, I am committed to following a plan, and I hope to go sub 50 minutes on my 10K.

So here is my question to you:
